GERMAN VISIT TO
LONDON, 7th April. ' "Purely personal is the "Daily Telegraph's" diplomatic writer's summing up of the projected visit of Dr. Bruening and Dr. Curtius. Mr. Earnsay Mac Donald and Mr. Arthur Henderson desire to meet them and discuss informally the future of disarmament. German newspapers express the greatest satisfaction at the invitation as an expression of friendly and neighbourly relations between England and Germany, especially because, in recent months, events have occurred which might give occasion for misunderstanding. . ■ The German Chancellor, Dr. Bruening, and the Foreign Minister, Dr. Curtius, who have accepted the invitation to visit London for a general discussion with the Prime Minister, Mr. Eamsay MaeDonald, and the Foreign Secretary, Mr. Arthur Henderson, are expected to reach England on Ist or Bth May, remaining long enough to spend the weekend at Chequers, where all Anglo-Ger-man questions will be formally discussed, states a Bcrlin^.message.
