LOSS OF MEMORY

STRANGER IN SYDNEY

VICTIM OF EARTHQUAKE ?

SYDNEY, Sth April. A recent visitor to Sydney was found wandering in the scrub on the outSkirts of the city during the week-end, suffering from loss of memory. He baffled the police, who found a card indicating that he was a member of a firm of London solicitors. It was further ascertained that he came from New Zealand aboard the Uliniaroa on 24th March, after transacting business. He is believed to be Mr. Brassington, who was staying at the Grand Hotel, Hastings, at the time of the earthquake. Ho is unable to remember anything about himself or his friends, and an endeavour is now being made to trace a fellow-passenger on the Uliinaroa. He had money on arrival in Sydney, but is now penniless.
