UPPER HUTT MAYORALTY
Mr. "W. Greig, who had announced his intention to stand for tho Upper Hutt Mayoralty, has been compelled to withdraw owing to ill-health, his doctor having advised him to take no further part in local body work,,either as Mayor or as councillor. Mr. Grcig's supporters last night conveyed a unanimous request to Councillor James Blowman to contest the Mayoral election, and Mivßlewman promised to give his decision shortly.
