ALL MY LITTLE PEOPLE
Easter! Isn't it one of the loveliest times of the year to you? a small sigh-of-gladness from Nature before she tucks herself up for her Autumn head-nodding and her Winter sleep. . . . . Friday, that Day oLMemories, has slipped away, and left only the fragrance of remembrance in the glad holiday times; But the memories drift about us still, little echoes of Calvary o that send a solemn thought among the joyous hours of Easter: "Oh, every tree was given up to- blossom, And every, bee burred in the broken lane, < -But as He passed^ the little bees and blossoms ' , ■ Were still with love and pain ..." because, although nineteen hundred years and more have quietly folded themselves away, we cannot forget our heritage ~. . ; But here's Easter Saturday, with delightful eggs for to-mor- • row, and, I'm certain, joyfulness for you all. There's lots for you to do to-night those eggs, f/>r one thing-; and a painting, my pixies, if so you feel inclined. I hope you do! And an especial dearness of love from my self to all your small selves. v FAIRIEL. ,
