OHIRO BAY BEACH

(To the Editor.) Sir,—During the pant few days the carters have started again in taking gravel from the Ohiio Bay Beach. Evidently someone in the Marine Department, has gone over the Minister's head to grant a 1 permit, or else the police are lacking in their duties in not prosecuting. If this matter is not stopped at once, the rate-! payers will be called upon for some thousands of pounds to make good the damage tho sea ■will do, and also the public will lose a fine beach.—l am, etc., RATEPAYER.
