EASTER MONDAY EXCURSION TO PICTON.

A trip combining a whiff of salt sea air with the lovely scenery of Tory Channel and Queen Charlotte Sound will be made by the Wahine on Easter Monday, on a one-day excursion to Picton. Departure from Wellington will be taken at 8 a.m.; An hour and a half after clearing the Heads the"big turbine steamer should be well within the1 calm waters- of Tory; Channel, and Picton should be reached' aboiit quarter to eleven. For; thoseI,who want to go ' on td Blenheim1 a special train will leave Picton after the Wahine's arrival, and will get back to the port before she leaves again. There will also be special launches from Picton to several of the beauty spots in Queen Charlotte Sound, where lunch or hot water may be obtained.
