Mr.' and Mrs. John Agar, Tinakori road, left to-day for a holiday visit to the Sounds. Mrs.' J. C. Peacock and Mrs. JV Brodie, Wellington, will bo the guests of Mrs. M. Godby, Christchurch, for. the Easter golf tournament next week. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Begg, "Wellington, are spending a holiday in the Sounds. Miss M. Enright returned to Christchurch last evening after a visit to Wellington. . ' Mrs. David Jones, Canterbury, who has spent several weeks in Wellington, will leave for Christchurch this evening. Hart, Wellington, arrived by the Monowai from Sydney last week, after spending sixteen months in England. Miss Helen Hart has recently attained,her L.X.A.M. degree, and is now engaged in teaching in England. Mrs. P. J. Wilson, Wellington, is spending Easter with friends in the country. Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Stewart, Sydney, who have been visiting their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Stewart, Dunedin, returned this morning to;, Wellington and are staying at the Royal Oak. Mrs. 'Thomas M'Laren, with her daughter,-' Miss Nora M'Laren, will aqcoinpany her father, Mr. Marcus Marks, on a tour abroad. • They will leave Wellington on Tuesday by the Makui-a to connect at Sydney with the P. and O. line. They expect to return to New Zealand at the end of tho year. Mr. and Mrs. W. N. Haire and Miss Kathleen. Haire, Hobson street, have returned, from a visit to Paraparaumu.
