HDNDEED METRE SWIM

Miss Joyce Cooper, of Kingston-ou-Tharncs, broke the 100 metres 'European swimming record for women at tho international contest hold by tho Paris Swimmers' Club yesterday. Her time was 70sec. The previous record, held by Mile. Bnuin, of Holland, was 71 4-ssoc.
