THIS WEEK'S MEETING. The events to bTdecided at &**&■ hirnie' Stadium Speedway next Saturdny ni-ht will provide more variety than usual Imong the visiting riders akLg part.will be Charlie Spinks and Harold Stevens, both of whom are very spectacular brqadsidersj and capable of making very fast timeß. Spinks has previously set up records m^the Dominion, and he is now vfery keen to make a new record on the Kilbirnie track. With this object m _view ho will use the best of his/machines next Saturday night. One event _ which should be highly entertaining is that in which horses will take the -place.'.of motor-cycles. This event is _, nemg billed, as the "Draught-Horse Derby, and as a novelty turn it should be very popularly received. Arrangements have also beent made for full reports of the first speedway Test, New Zealand v. England, to be supplied from Dunedin, and these will be given during the progress, of the meeting at the Kilbirnie Stadium on Saturday night.
