PLANT FOR ARAPUNI
«» A consignment of heavy machinery was dispatched from Auckland to Arapuni by special train on Sunday, states the "New Zealand Herald.": The machinery is for use in the installation of the fourth generator, the assembling of which is to porceed simultaneously with the remedial works on the spillway channel and overflow. Several consignments have been landed in Auckland during the last six weeks, the most recent being that unloaded from the Port Dunedin, which reached Auckland from Liverpool on 13 th January.- '
