SYDNEY, 26th January. Anniversary or Foundation Day vraM observed throughout Australia to-dajj by a close holiday. - The chief event in Sydney was th« regatta on the harbour. The liner Ormonde, bedecked with bunting, acted as flagship. The weather was' beautifully fine, with a light breeze for the sailing races. Other events included races for motor-boats %nd speed-boats, also row. ing races.
