COLLAPSE OF GRANDSTAND
SYDNEY, 26th January.
A large number of people were seated on an improvised grandstand at .Freshwater, near Manly, watching the surfers' carnival today when the structure collapsed. Five are in hospital and many others are suffering .from shock and minor injuries.
