(By Telegraph.)*' (Special to "The Evening Post.") DUNEDIN, This Day.1 The death of Circulation is reported. The mare wag being exercised on the lead when she became frightened, and broke away from F. E. Ingram, who was leading her. He was thrown into a fence, and the mare galloped down the road, and, meeting the Otago Central train at >a crossing, had her two hind legs cut off. Circulation jgas an eight-year-old mare by Paper Money from Sister Radius,-.by Charlemagne 11. from Sister Regis, by HotchkißS from St. Evelyn, by St. Leger. She r was bred by Mr. L. C. Hazlett, and has done all her racing in his colours. As a two-year-old she won the D.J.C. Champagne Stakes (1924). Next season she ■was second in the Dunedin Guineas and third in the New Zealand Oaks Stakes. She won the St. Andrew's Handicap, and was third in both the Invercargill Cup and the Hazlett Memorial. As a four-year-old she won the Southland Handicap, and was second in the C.J.C. Criterion Handicap and the Riverton Gold Cup. At five yeaft she won the Southland Cup and the Riverton Gold Cup. Next season she only secured second place money, but at seven years she won the D.J.C. Telegraph Handicap 'and the Wyndham Cup. This season she commenced by winning the Jockey , Club^Handicap at the Hunt Club Meeting, arid Tvas second in the Wyndham Gup-on New Year's Day.. Her loss will be a serious one to-Mr. Hazlett, who was'looking forward ,to her making a valuable'additionto'Msstud, and he. intended to retire her to the paddock after last season,; but *he came in so fresh and sound1 .that; he -unfortunately decided to give', her; another season on the Turf before retiring^ -her-. -. ... .
