THIEVES' BIG HAUL
£2000 WORTH OF JEWELLERY
SHELVES CLEARED OF RINGS
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) - DUNEDIN, 25th January. Robbers made a rich haul when they entered the shop of Hubert Wright, trading under the style of Dawson and Co., as watchmaker and jeweller in George street, on Saturday afternoon. The whole stock of diamond and other stone rings, valued at over £2000, was taken from shelves in the window. Entry was forced through a- door of the basement and a hole cut in the floor of the workroom. Besides rings, the only stock taken was four wristlet watches. A few shillings in the till were left untouched and only the most valuable articles were stolen.
