SWAGMAN RUNS AMOK
SYDNEY, 25th January.
A semi-starved svvagman ran amok in the small country village of Cooyal, near Murlgoe, yesterday. Mounted on a horse, he raced through the town and shot and critically wounded Oswald Hall, a local publican. Ho then turned the weapon on himself, but it is believed that he will recover. He was arrested for attempted murder.
