Casque.d'Or, 8.2 (Pratt) J Sir Chrystopher, 8.3 (J. Munro) - Ranworth, 7.6 (Simpson) 3 Nineteen started, including the former New Zealanders, Gay Ballerina and Auda. Setting a good pace. Carvel Boy went to the front at the half-mile, with Waueopla. Bimboy, Backwith, Casque dOr, .and Pano.la in a handy position. Casque dOr took; the lead at the Leger from Carnella. Sir Chryatopher, and Panda, and won comfortably by two lengths and a'half, with a loiiEth and a half between second and third.. Panola; was fourth, and Gay Ballerina and Auda were in the ruck. Time, lmln 12% sec. ■ • ' The New Zealand-bred Financial comploted the hat trick, winning the first division of the Wldden Handicap from Maybe and Satmouth. Time,- lmin 2sec. JANTJARY HANDICAP.
