SYDNEY, 25th. January. The grade cricket matches were played on damp wickets. Against Northern District, University in the first innings made' 71, and in the second 89. Williams took five for 60, and Parsonage four for 68. Northern District, first innings 197 (Buckle 52). Northern District won. Against Cumberland, Marrackville,. in the first innings, made 129, second innings 92. Howell took four for 24. Cumber-, land, first innings, 193 (Leadbeater 60); second, three for 33. Cumberland won bysix wickets . ■ . Against Glebe, St. George, in the first
innings, lost nine wickets for 290, and declared. Glebe, in the first innings, made 38, Theak taking three wickets for 10 rune, Noakes four for 18. Second innings, four wickets for 91. St. George won on the first innings. Against Eandwick, Nortf Sydney, m the first innings, made 125, and in the second lost seven wickets for 164. Steele took three for 27. Randwick, in the first inninps, made 200,' and in the second lost six wickets for 52. Randwick won on the first innings. Against Paddington, Mosman, in the first innings, made 100, and in the second lost no wickets for 3 runs. Paddington, first innings, 169. Rae took four wickets for 27. Mosman won on the first innings. Against Manly, Western Suburbs, in the first innings, made 201. Manly, first innings, 69. Burt took six wickets for 25. Second innings, 61. Burt took eight for 15. Western Suburbs won outright.
Against Waverley, Balmain, in the first innings, made., 219. Waverley,-first innings, 101. Richardson took five for 37. Second, 84. Bradley took four for 32. Balmain won on the first innings.
Against Petersham, Gordon in the first innings, made 170, and in the second 128. Arch took eight - wickets for-61 tims.Petersham, first innings, 163. Fisher took four for 52. Gordon won on the first innings.
