1 Dr. and Mrs. G. Craig ami Miss Nessiel Craig, who havo been visiting England, returned' to Wellington yesterday by the Monowai from Sydney. Mr. and Mrs. G. M. dime, Ilimterville, who visited Wellington for tho \ races, returned home this morning. Mrs. B. W. Kano and Miss Amy Kane, Halswell street, returned to Wellington yesterday by tho Monowai, sitter a holiday visit to Adelaide. Mr. and Mrs. I. Salek returned to Wellington yesterday after a trip to Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. Lan Hamilton, Hawkes Bay, arrived in Wellington on Saturday to meet, Mr. Hamilton's mother, who arrived from Scotland for a visit to New Zealand. Mrs. G. D. Greenwood, who arrived in Wellington yesterday by the Monowai, will leave for Christehureh this evening. Miss Sheila Todd, Miss Mary Prcedy, and Miss Sheila preedy, Wellington, motored from Masterton yesterday after taking part in the Wairarapa. tennis tournament. Simms, Karori, and Miss A. C. Freeman will leave this evening for a visit to Christehureh. Miss Magill, who has been attending a conferenco of teachers in Adelaide, returned to Wellington yesterday by the Monowai from Sydney.
