Hay, of Hamilton, the manager of the last touring team., considers ho", Kerr, Lowry, M'Girr, and Dictan*°Mr Hay said that several Southerners were hich'ly spoken of whom he Jiad not Ten He was personally anxious to see a strong fielding side with good slip*, two medium to fast bowlers who can really be relied upon, and a modicum ot oldei players of the right stamp. "It is. a great mistake stick- to too many of the older players," he said, but t is a greater mistake on a long tour not to have three or four experienced men.
