INDIGNATION ROUSED
GENERAL STRIKE ORDERED
(Received 16th December, 10 a.m.) MADRID, 15th December. The shooting at Jaca has caused! astonishment and indignation among the revolutionaries, especially as tha executions took place on Sunday. Trade* union leaders have proclaimed general strikes in Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao^ and Santander. Though the trade union leaders havai called a general strike throughout tha country, only Bilbao is at present seriously affected. Madrid is normaL but the military guard at the King's Palace has been, doubled in. strength. Two military 'planes flying .oveij Madrid dropped proclamations declaring that a revolution had broken outj supported by the army. The authorities' regard the leaflets as bluff. All is normal in Madrid. There is a wellauthenticated report that the Air Corp* revolted and martial law was declared in the central regions and that rebel, airmen from Cuatro -Vientos have sur-i rendered. .
