The General Purposes Committee of the London County Council states that the question of providing aircraft landing accommodation in Central London is receiving careful consideration. ■ Tho committee was requested recently by the council to consider the practicability of utilising, for garage and other accommodation for air machines in Central London, the Biver Thames, the roofs of large buildings, and the roofs of other buildings in streets where the skyline is sufficiently level for the construction of super-structure platforms for taking-off and alighting.
