CAPITAL PUNISHMENT
EXPERIMENTAL ABOLITION
COMMITTEE'S PROPOSAL
(Eeeeived 16th December, 1.20 p.m.) LONDON, 15th December. The Select Committee on Capital Punishment recommends legislation to abolish it experimentally for five years during peace time. The House of Commons in the meantime is considering a resolution advising the Minister to recommend the commutation of the usual death sentence.
