The second round of tho Wellington Golf Club's championships was played on Saturday. In the senior championship A. D. S. Duncan beat V. G. llliiml, 14 and 12; J. D. G. Duncan beat J. U. Parker, 3 and 2; D. O. Why to beat ,R. X Tolhurst, 2 and 1; D. C. Collins beat 12. O. Hales, 8 and 7. The semi-finals will be between A. Duncan and D. O. Whytc, and J. Duncan and 1). C. Collins. A. Duncan was in great form, doing his morning round in 72 and iv the afternoon a 08, his card showing 34 out aud 34 in. In the junior championship C. R. Ho«vden beat W. E. Fussell; D. G. Webster beat E. V. Riddiford; E. D. Bluudell beat D. R. Menzies. In the semi-finals Webster and Blundell play off, while C. R. Howden wins by default. A men's medal match on Saturday was won by E. O. Hales, 77-7—70. The men's bogey was won by A. D. S. Duncan, scr, with a score of 6 up on Colonel Bogey.
