CRICKET
PLUNKET SHIELD
WELLINGTON PLAYERS CHOSEN
Players required to jiractice in view of Wellington's Plunket Shield matches, the first of which will be with Otago at the Basin Reserve commencing on Christmas Day, have been chosen by the Wellington selector (Mr. W. S. Brice). Selected players who arc members of the city and suburban clubs are to attend the Basin Reserve for net practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays and for fielding practice on Wednesdays. Tho first practice is to be held to-mor-row. Those players in the country districts who are in line for the Wellington representative team are being requested to keep in form by attention to practise in their own centres.
