Mrs. Hughes Stecle, Wellington, left last evening for whore she will stay' with Mrs. E. J. Cordnor, Fendalton. Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Davis, Avonside, Christchurch, havo returned homo after a motor tour of the North Island. Mrs. Lan MacEwan, who has been the guest of Mrs. J. B. MacEwan, Fitzherbert ten-ace, will return to Palmers'ton North to-morrow. Mr. and Mrs. P. Leathern and Miss Hazel Leathern, Wellington, are staying at Warner's Hotel, Christchurch. Mr. and Mrs. T. Hope, Hawkes Bay, who have been visiting Tiniaru, have left on .their return journey. The. Misses Kissling, Auckland, are the guests of Mrs. Pereival James, Bolton street." .... Hearn, Eastbourne, returned South last night. Mrs. Leo Dwan, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. M. Piendergast, Christchurch. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. M'Gregor and family, Dunedin, have left to take up their residence in Wellington. Mrs. Leonard Chamberlain has recently returned to Christehureh after an extended visit to the North-Island.
