CROYDON SCHOOL SPORTS

Favoured with glorious weather, the boys of the Wellington Diocesan Boys' School held their annual athletic sports at Croydon, Day's Bay, yesterday afternoon. There was a large attendance of parents and friends of the school. Quite a high standard of athletic ability wjis shown by the boys, who for the most part are very young, and the houEe relay race might be mentioned in : particular as being an exceptionally good event. The senior championship was awarded to Vickery, Shand being runner-up, and the junior championship to Handyside.
