MOTOR-CAR SALES
ALLEGED WRONGFUL SEIZURE
The hearing of the case, commenced in the Supreme Court on Tuesday morning, relating to the ownership and sale , of certain motor-cars in which the Traders' Finance • Corporation, Ltd., were the plaintiffs, and General Motors Acceptance Corporation the defendants, was completed yesterday afternoon. His Honour Mr. Justice Ostler reserved hia decision. Traders' Finance Corporation,-: Ltd., alleged that the defendant corporation wrongfully ■ seized two cais sold by; Bishara Bros., of Taumaruuui, acting as distributors in Tauniarunui for General . Motors (N.Z.),. Ltd., on which amounts of £18S 15a Cd and £83 11s wcro owing. It was contended in the statement of- defence- that the defendants were the owners of the cars at the time the sales were made, and that -should.it. be proved, that the'curs had been seized, the seizure was lawful. The, defendants also claimed that the Court proceedings were a breach of au agreement which had been entered into. ' At-thoihearijig .of the case, Mr. R.
