(Received Sth December, 12.40 p.m.) : LONDON, 4th December. Butter is in rather more demand. Danish, 130s per cwt; choicest salted New Zealand, 104s to 106s; Australian, 08s to 102s, with ; exceptionally : good 104s. Unsalted New ■ Zealand, 124s'to 130s; Australian, 114s to ÜBs. Cheese is weak. New Zealand, coloured 56s to 57s per cwt, white 5Ss to 595; Australian, coloured 555, white 575. Messrs. A. S. Paterson and Co., Ltd., \Vellington, report having received cable advice from Messrs. J. and .',, Lonsdale and Co., Ltd., London, dated 4th December, as follows: —"Butter: Market steady, better demand. Danish, 128s; New Zealand, 104sI06s; Australian, 100s-102s. Cheese: Market dull, prices irregular. White, 5Ss-60s; coloured, 575-5Ss."
