An official return furnished to Mr. Crouch, M.P., in response to questions] asked by him iv the ■ House of Ecpre- J scntatives discloses that there are 260 officials in establishments maintained abroad by the Commonwealth Government at the expense of Australian taxpayers, says the Melbourne "Age." The distribution of these overseas officials and recipients of Commonwealth pay is as follows: —Great Britain, 24(5; United States, 11; Trance, 1; Canada, 2.
