RHODES SCHOLARSHIP
The meeting of the committoo which sat yesterday to • select the Rhodes Scholars was presided over by His Excellency the Governor-General. The following members were present: The Hon. Sir Michaol Myei's (Chief Justice), the Hon. J. A. Hanan (Pro-Chan-collor of the University), Professor 11. W. Segar (chairman of tho Academic Board), Sir Andrew Russell, K.C.M.G., Messrs. C. M. Gilray, M.A., and F. F, Miles, M.A.
The Pro-Chancellor- took the place of the, Chancellor (Professor J. Macmillau Brown, O'hristehureh), wlio lias only just recently returned from England, ami Mr. Miles took the place of the otlier ex-scholar member, Professor P. W. Robertson, who is at Drcsent absent from the Dominion.
