OVER TWO MILLIONS

(Received 3rd December, 12.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The annual report of the New South Wales Railway Commissioner for the year ended 30th June, 1930, states that the earnings totalled £17,826,692, and the working expenses were £14,962,----423. Interest charges amounted , to £.6,420,643, and the Government's contribution towards tho losses .on the working of the country developmental lines amounted to £800,000, so tho net loss on the year's working was £2,756,----374. The tramway losses amounted to ,£385,244.
