ESPERANTO CLUB.
The weekly meeting of the Wellington Esperanto Club took place last night in the V.M.C.A., Mr. E. C. Jack presidingIt ivas announced that word had just been received from London that Miss Coralio Smythson,x vice-president., had gained with honours the Diploma of Esperanto, issued by the British Esperanto Association. Tuition classes occupied the first portion of the evening, after which an enjoyable programme was presented. Mr. Jack gave a talk in Esperanto on "La Arbaro." Mr. L. E. Dust lectured in Esperanto os the subject of ''Lti Utiligado do Vitro," with blackboard 'diagrams. Mr. Yernon Lock contributed a reading in Esperanto on "La Pavino." The concluding item was a. short lecture in Esperanto by the secretary, Mr. Bertram Potts, on "Hidrogeua Gaso," with explanatory sketches drawn upon the blackboard. ,
