SINKING FAST
SHIP IN DISTRESS
AT PRATAS REEF, OFF HONG KONG
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. The Auckland police were informed by an S.O.S. message received at Thames this morning from the ship named Hedwig, stating that she is sinking fast.
A radio message was picked up early this morning by tho Post Office authorities, tho location of s.s. liedwig being given as at Pratas" Beef. - j The Pratas are a group of islands and reefs between Hong Kong and the j northern 'Mid of Luzon, Phillipine Islands.
