ABANDONED CHILD
FOUND ON ASH HEAP
SEARCH FOR THE MOTHER
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, This Day. •Yesterday two ladies working in a Pietoii garden had their attention drawn to a box which had been thrown on an ash heap. Investigation revealed a newly-born female child, crying lustily. The infant was taken to hospital, where she is doing tvell. The polieo are endeavouring to trace the mother.
