Dr. Winifred Cullis, professor of physiology at the London School of Medicine, joined in tho outcry against the return of the long skirt when she delivered a lecture for city girls under the auspices of the Alliance of Honour, states the "Daily Mail.' 1, "I do earnestly hope," she declared, "that we arc going to be- strong-minded enough not to allow ourselves to bn swatliod in lonf; skirts again. T shall be positively ashamed of women if they go bark to long skirts.
