OPENING RATES MAINTAINED
(Received 2nd December, 12.15 p.m.) LQNDON, Ist December. Offerings at the wool sales were 8769 bales, including 1930 bales New Zealand. About 7200 were sold. Steady competition was experienced, all sections operating. Prices were maintained. New Zealand greasy halfbred, "Kiverina," were sold 9%d to Bd, "denary" 894 dto B%d.
