BLAZE AT PLIMMERTON
Fire early this morning destroyed a Cottage, a whare, and a garage at Plimmerton. The cottage was occupied by Mr. Cole, and the whare by Mr. Tovey, while the garage was the property of Mr. W. G. Hellish, of Wellington. The fire, it is believed, originated in the cottage, and spread to the other buildings. The wharo was on a section where a house was burnt out last March. Shops are on the north side of the scene of the fire, and a nearly completed concrete building on the other side,' but a bucket brigade prevented t.he flames spreading to these. Insurances at present are not available.
