(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") AUCKLAND, This Day. "They paid too much," was the frauk comment of Mr. Otto Somer, a German woolbuycr, wtfo arrived by the \orangi yesterday, in speaking of tho prices realised at the Auckland and AVonganui wool sales. "AYe don't like these low prices any more than your growers do, but wo lost money last year, and nobody knows what will happen this year." "Has the manufacture of synthetic i wool anything to do with the matter?" ho was asked. ! "Nothing at all," he replied. "It is t.lio world-wide slump, nothing else." Mr. Somcr left by car last night for tho Napier sale on AVednosday.
