KARORI CLUB.
At Trentham on Saturday the Karon Club fired the second stage of the long range half of the championship, the ranges being 800 yds and 900 yds. The weather was fine, but so changeable was the wind that tall scoring, as a glance at the list will show, was notably absent. As it was T H' R. Boon's score of 88 was outstanding. Next off the gun came F. T. Freeman with 82, then P. B. Goldfinch, 81. The club has now fired two longs and two shorts, and counting out one of each the championship and handicap aggregate tables can now be started.
