THE NEW ZEALAND SALES
The first Napier wool sales of the current season begin at 9 a.m. ou Wednesday. The -Hew Zealand Wool Committee has limited the offering to 30,000 bales, which is not expected to be reached. The first Wellington sale will be held at the Town Hall beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday next, and the limit of initial offering has also been fixed at 30,000 bales. There is a rather better feeling prevalent among brokers as to the future value of New Zealand wools when the tests of the Napier and Wellington sales have been applied. Merinos have been slightly better in London since' the opening of the sales there last Tuesday, but there is room for much improvement in the value of crossbred wools, of which 9S per cent, of the Dominion offerings consist.
