SWAN BREWERY PROFITS.
After writing off £11,421 for depreciation, the Swan Brewery Co., Ply., Perth, a company registered in Melbourne, and in which there is some New Zealand shareholding, for the half-year ended 30th September shows a net profit of £55,352, compared with £3.7.873 for the corresponding period of 1920. With £25,825 brought forward, there is available £81, 177. Dividend on the G per cent, preference shares takes £1500. Ordinary shareholders received 2s a share, absorbing £34,030. Kespvvo fund is strengthened by transfer of' £10,000, and £0599 is reserved for income tax.. The amount, carried forward for the cm-rent term is £20,043.
