SUPPORT FOR ALLIANCE
(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") DUNEDIN, This Day. In view of the fact that the Minister of Labour has stated that the watersiders were the only workers who had protested against the action of the Government in disallowing the workers' vote to determine who shall represent them on the Unemployment Board, Mr. Batchclor, a prominent Trades Hall official, stated that the woollen mill workers had wholeheartedly supported the Alliance of Labour in its .protests. The shop assistants had also moved a motion of protest along the same lines. In conversation with hundreds of workers during the past week, Mr. Batchelor said he had not heard one who was not opposed to the action of the Government.
