EMPIRE AIR ROUTES
DEVELOPING LAST LINK , SINGAPORE, 13th November. Air Chief-Marshal Sir John Salmond, who has arrived after an inspection of the aerodromes between Calcutta and Singapore, said that he had no idea when England and Australia would be linked up by a working air route. It was for the Australian Government to develop the route between Singapore and Australia.
