EVANS BAY FORESHORE
What developments might be expect- « 4 in regard, to the Evans Bay reclamation was asked at question time last night by Councillor Semple. Proposals had been made to the Harbour Board some months ago by the special committee which.had been informed that a considered answer would be given the council in due course. That was some months ago. The Mayor said that arrangements had been made for the chairman of the Harbour Board and himself to confer on the matter, but the arbitration over the Fire Board site had occupied him until recently. Ho had asked the chairman of the board to defer the matter, but would probably be able to meet him early next week.
