ELECTION TO THE BOARD
Through the resignation of Lieuten-ant-Colonel H. E. A very, a parents' representative on the Wellington College Board of Governors, a vacancy has been caused and an election to fill it will take place on 24th November. There are two candidates: Dr. J. S. Elliott and Mr. W. H. Denton. Both are old boys of Wellington College, and have been executive members of the Old Boys' Association. Dr. Elliott was for several years president of the association, and in his term the erection of the" War Memorial Hall and the spoitß pavilion was successfully concluded. , Mr. Denton formerly had a seat on the board.
