SEIZED FROM STUDENTS
ELEPHANTS IN LORD MAYOR'S PROCESSION
(Received 11th November, 10 a.m.) LONDON, 10th November. While tho Lord Mayor's procession was passing the Embankment four elephants forming an Indian pageant, noticing university students upholding a rag lion mascot, rushed in the crowd, grasped the lion, and scattered the students, and returned to their places in tne procession. Many onlookers were knocked down and slightly injured in the-confusion. The elephants carefully avoided trampling on anyone, though the pavements were very crowded.
