TO SWIM COOK STRAIT
FAMOUS WOMAN SWIMMER
LONDON, Bth November. Miss Mercedes Glcitzo, tho famous swimmer, before sailing for New Zealand, said that she wanted to be the first to swim Cook Strait. When she returned, she said, she would attempt the Galway to Arran Island swim.
