The Awapuni studmaster, Mr. W. T. Bailey, also registered a success with a yearling gelding by Lackham from Dark Town. Acrcdity (Acre— Absurdity), who will make a fine brood mare when sho has completed her active career, won the class for dry mares, three years and over, at the: Manawatu Show. Her owner-trainer, J J- -Waller, also scored in the yearling fiilv class with a half-sister by Laekham, arid gained a second award with a two-yeai-Old colt by Shambles-Absurdity.
