Parysia, Arrowzone, Salmo Salar, and Water Power were the first to move, but Arrowzone1 lost his position within" a furlong, and Parysia and Salmo Salar were clear at the five furlongs from Water Power, Jayson, and Paratoo Salmo Salar, Jaysdif, and Paratoo came into the straight, together, but then the last named drew out and won easily from Tripping, who jus* got up in time to beat feajmo Salai by a neck for second money Salrno Salar was d. much better favour lte^than Paratoo, and there was a similar drop to Imateagirl Tupping paid nearly twice as much as the wmnei Salmo Salar had every chance, for he drew the rail, and was then piactieally flist out He was going back into the field very quickly at the close Tupping was just behind Paratoo at the fhe furlongs, and followed hifli fioiii the time he began his effort, but she had no chance of catching him.
