■ Good progress was made last week with the junior teams' tourney of tho Wellington Chess League, three further matches having been disposed of. A few supplementary match games wero got off in each instance. The fixture Karori C.C. v. Wellington Working ■Men's Club and Literary Institute was concluded on Tuesday eveuiug.
